Meditation For Life

At first we have to decide what is our Major Goal of life, because our goals decide our actions.We have to decide whether we are doing meditation for life or our life should be for meditation.

We can’t succeed till our actions supports our goals. If we want to reach to God then each and every thought should direct towards it.
Your concentration should be on stillness of your mind. It is all about improving concentration.

Now what is Mind?

If you place a tub full of water in the sun, the rays of the sun will form an image in the water and will then be reflected back on a wall. The reflection on the wall will be bright if the water in the tub is clean and stationery; if it is turbid, the reflection on the wall will be dim or there will be no reflection at all. In other words, the state of the reflection depends on the stillness or the purity of the water. Similarly, if the mind is still & if there lays purity in our mind, then the benefits of meditation for life can be achieved easily.

Who wouldn’t like to be happy? The desire for happiness is one the most powerful fuels that drive human life. Yet how many people could say that ever really achieve it? Is it not a fact that most people spend most of their lives pursuing happiness in one way or another? And they want their happiness to last. They search for it in may ways-in relationships, careers, making money, having sex, reading books, going to the movies, consuming alcohol, taking drugs, going out to eat, going shopping, buying clothes, and in seeking power, popularity or fame. Basically all these things lie outside the person, which implies that happiness is thought to be found through the outside world.

If some sense of satisfaction is experienced through outside things, it never lasts long-and that’s the problem. Sooner or later something else is needed. The mind tires of what it has, and once again the person becomes frustrated or feels that something is lacking. Once more he or she goes out into the world looking for something new.
Is Permanant Happiness Source exists in this world?

Definitely, it exists and can be acheived. The secret to a meaningful and harmonious life is to develop spiritual dimension. But to achieve this we should be goal oriented. We can have this only by loving meditation, not just doing meditation to remain stress free or to achieve a minor goal.
